General Terms and Conditions for Buyers
123event – Ticketing Platform

Article 1 – Definitions
For the purposes of these General Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
123event
The online ticketing platform accessible via www.123event.eu, which enables organisers to sell tickets for events.
Platform
The 123event website and software through which tickets can be purchased and managed.
Organiser / Seller
The natural person or legal entity that organises an event and sells tickets through the platform.
Buyer / User
The person who purchases a ticket through the platform.
Ticket
The digital proof of admission to an event.
Event
The activity for which a ticket is sold.
Article 2 – Applicability
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all ticket purchases made through the 123event platform.
By purchasing a ticket through the platform, the buyer declares that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Article 3 – Role of 123event
123event acts exclusively as a technical platform and intermediary between the buyer and the organiser.
The agreement relating to participation in an event is concluded directly between the buyer and the organiser.
123event is not an organiser of events and accepts no responsibility for the organisation or execution of the event.
Article 4 – Ticket Sales
Tickets are sold by the organiser through the 123event platform.
The organiser determines: ticket prices; ticket terms and conditions; the capacity of the event.
After successful payment, the buyer receives a digital ticket by email.
Article 5 – Payment
Payments are processed through external payment service providers.
The buyer is responsible for correctly completing the payment.
The purchase only becomes final and the ticket becomes valid after successful payment.
Article 6 – Use of the Ticket
The ticket entitles the holder to admission to the event as organised by the organiser.
The buyer is responsible for keeping the ticket safe.
The ticket may be presented digitally or in printed form at the entrance to the event.
Article 7 – Ticket Fraud and Duplication
Each ticket contains a unique code or QR code.
Each code can be validly scanned only once for admission to the event.
If a ticket is copied, forwarded or duplicated, only one copy can provide access to the event.
The first scan is considered the valid admission.
123event and the organiser cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the misuse, duplication or counterfeiting of tickets.
Article 8 – Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are determined exclusively by the organiser of the event.
123event does not decide whether refunds are granted and cannot process a refund without the organiser's authorisation.
If an organiser authorises a refund, it will be processed through the platform.
Processing fees relating to payments or refunds may apply.
Article 9 – Modification or Cancellation of an Event
The organiser may modify or cancel an event.
In the event of a modification or cancellation, the organiser will inform the buyers.
123event is not responsible for modifications, cancellations or the content of events.
Article 10 – Admission to Events
The organiser may impose admission rules for the event.
The buyer must comply with these rules.
The organiser may refuse admission if: the ticket is invalid; the ticket has already been used; the visitor does not comply with the event's rules and regulations.
Article 11 – Platform Availability
123event aims to ensure the highest possible availability of the platform.
However, due to the nature of internet services, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
123event cannot be held liable for temporary interruptions or disruptions of the platform.
Article 12 – Liability
123event is not liable for damages resulting from: cancellation or modification of events; organisational problems; loss or theft of tickets; misuse of tickets by third parties.
123event is solely responsible for the technical functioning of the platform.
Article 13 – Privacy
Buyers' personal data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection legislation.

Article 14 – Platform Disclaimer
123event exclusively provides a technical platform for ticket sales.
123event does not guarantee the quality, safety or content of events.
Full responsibility for the event lies with the organiser.
Article 15 – Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Dendermonde/Ghent, Belgium.
Article 16 – Validity
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
